HOW THICK ARE THE GUN BELTS?

1.5" (3.7 cm) wide gun belts are approximately 5 mm thick. 1.75" (4.5 cm) wide Garrison gun belts are 5.5 mm thick.

WHAT IS THE TRACK MADE OF AND DOES IT BREAK OR WEAR OUT?

The track is made out of a tough nylon material that is virtually indestructible. It's very, very rare that one ever breaks and it has never been an issue.
